Anyone claiming that only `poor, underprivileged` Muslims are brutal is just NOT seeing reality. Islam supports brutality at every socio-economic level.
Folks: This is news you will never hear in Indian news channels, not just because the events occured in US, but more bcoz it shows islam in its true negative light.
Muzzammil Hassan, a Pakistani Immigrant to United States story shows that the core problem for the well being of the world is the ideology of fascist islam.
Muzzamil Hassan was the CEO of islamist Bridges TV - another of those initiatives where muslims camouflage their totalitarian intentions under the garb - moderate. A moderate is `moderate` because he does not believe in his literal text and is willing to take criticizm of his/her text. (muslim should pass this test to be deemed moderate)
The station that Muzzammil Hassan, 44, founded in 2004 with the achingly benevolent idea, in the words of a November 2004 biography, to help `non-Muslims overcome the negative images they may have of both Muslims and Islam` has now abundantly enhanced negative images of Muslims and Islam.
Today comes news from Orchard Park, near Buffalo, New York, of Hassan`s arrest on second-degree murder charges for having beheaded his wife, Aasiya Z. Hassan, 37. Aasiya had recently filed for divorce and won an order of protection forcing him out of their shared house; it appears that Hassan attempted to create a murder scene for police that would allay suspicion of himself, but failed in this.
Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita III offered his view that `Obviously, this is the worst form of domestic violence possible.`
Comments: (1) No, this is not at all obviously about domestic violence. It is obviously about a totalitarian ideology in our midst that authorities like district attorneys refuse to open their eyes to. Phyllis Chesler establishes this point beyond a doubt in a forthcoming Middle East Quarterly article, `Are Honor Killings Simply Domestic Violence?` Spring 2009, pp. 61-69.
(2) According to news account from 2004, it was Aasiya`s concerns about raising Muslim children in the United States that inspired Muzzammil to develop Bridges TV.
(3) I predict that this atrocity brings Bridges TV`s short and ignominious career to an even faster and ignominious end.
ON ISLAM AND ITS THREAT;
Islam is a serious problem and most of the western world have no clues how to fix it.
WHAT NEED TO BE DONE TO WIN WAR AGAINST TERROR:
1. Deploy more US soldiers in Afghanistan. Manage a new supply route through Russia. Russia would not like to see Taliban`s survival. Russia should be seen as an ally.
2. Collaborate with India. Ask India for Support and deployment of soldiers in Afghanistan.
3. Dismember Pakistan and take out its nukes.

(History Lesson 2: Pakthunland being a minefield of foreign forces is not based on reality. A false understanding of Russia`s invasion will make one believe in the myth of pakthun invincibility. But for American arming the tribals of pakistan and afghanistan, there was no way taliban army whose most sophisticated weapon is stinger would have made any impact on soviets. Let us remember that Russia like other invaders walked over the pakthuns and would have continued but for US/CIA war. And US in its objective to cut down communism, was short sighted and enabled an evil (islamic fascism) much more brutal and evil compared to communism. ).
(History lesson 3: Pakthuns are as good or as bad a fighters as everyone else in Indian subcontinent like the Gorkhas, Rajputs, Sikhs etc.. Every rampaging army - Alexander`s Greeks, Chandra Gupta Maurya`s Indians, Turks, Arabs, Mongols and Sikhs all walked across/ruled the pakthun areas. Pakthuns though deserve to be freed from islamic fascism which invaded and conqured afghanistan more than a millenium ago. What is required from the free world is COMMITMENT to stay for the long haul and utterly defeat (emotionally, intellectually and militarily) the islamofascist enemy who are (ab)using pakthun land and traditions).

US should have enforced kemalist constitutions both in Iraq and Afghanistan. That is what will reform muslim world in the short run.
